I was once again able to show three of my works to the Argentine public, this time in Recoleta, Buenos Aires. Many thanks again to Carlos Eduardo Vera, @EspacioDeArteSophie, for the invitation to participate in this wonderful event at a unique and welcoming location in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for a month.

Three paintings were on display: a portrait “JUST A DAD WITH HIS GIRLS”, in mixed media on a large canvas, and the oil portrait of FAYÇAL & SABRI. Very fitting was the painting, my cute “Girl”. I painted her in the traditional King’s Day clothing of Marken, a famous fishing village in the Netherlands. Coincidentally, the exhibition coincided with the national celebration of King’s Day in the Netherlands . Our Queen is the proud Argentine daughter, Máxima.

” SPEED ” is painted in acrylic paint on canvas and was published on the Art page in the world-renowned House & Garden magazine , which focuses on interior design, entertaining, and gardening, as it began in the US in 1901. ” SPEED ” was inspired by a photo that the famous painter Ashley Longshore had posted on her Instagram in connection with Father’s Day. Later, this painting found its way to him, Spencer Longshore, in America.

As you can see, this exhibition in a suburb of Paris , in Saint-Remy-Les-Chevreuse , was particularly successful, not least because of the idea of having lunch with the artists amidst our very diverse artworks, and later jazz music that enhanced the atmosphere even further.
